Welcome to Per August

Peraugust.com is the personal website of Everett Arthur Shogren, a native of Silverdale Township, Koochiching County, Minnesota, now living in San Diego, California.  
It serves no useful purpose.

This site is named for my paternal grandfather, Per August Sjøgren who was born in or near Ekshared, Varmland, Sweden on May 29, 1870.  
By heritage I am Yankee English (descended from Rebecca Nurse of the Salem witchcraft trials) from my mother's side and Swedish from my father's side.

The 2010 Greaney, Rauch, Siverdale History day will be on August 14, 2010!

 A special request for Silverdale - This is a request for help in preserving the last historical building in Silverdale.  Area residents are seeking funds to repair the bell tower on the Silverdale Lutheran Church. Roof work has been set to install a new roof but there are not enough funds to repair the bell tower. If you would like to donate to this worthy cause, you may make a tax-deductible contribution payable to the Silverdale Lutheran Church  Mail to:  Violet Hall, 3293 Greaney Road, Gheen, MN.  55771
